Under Federal Law certain information considered "Sensitive"
or "Confidential" can only be disseminated to those sworn/certified
members of Criminal Justice Agencies. We pride ourselves on establishing
the Associate Membership category as we believe that to fully address
the gang issue you must bring all stakeholders to the table. Thus
the ability to bring educators and counselors to the table to work
together with law enforcement in developing an overall gang control
strategy.
However, for those criminal justice professionals
who are concerned about sensitive information you will be relieved
to know that the FGIA utilizes the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s
secured servers to send out sensitive information over the FGIA Regular
