Gates are open from 9am to 9pm.  Gate Admittance is $10 for the weekend, kids 12 and under are free

at the NEW Okeechobee County Agri-Civic Center

A statewide bike rally to bring those together with the desire to do their part in building a Gang Free Florida.  All proceeds generated from the rallies will go towards the development of additional programs and events dedicated to gang awareness, prevention and intervention.

                 The schedule of events for this weekend has been released.

Saturday, Nov 10

9 a.m.        Gates open to the general public; registering for events and contests;

10 a.m.      Live music starts; first motorcycle out for the Poker Run

10:45a.m. Blessing of the Bikes

11a.m.       Opening Ceremonies n National Anthem and color guard

11:15a.m. Group Poker Run out/start tug-o-war competition

Noon         Last bike out for Poker Run

1 p.m.        Slow Ride Competition

2 p.m.        Water Baloon Toss competition

3 p.m.        Poker Run Drawing

4 p.m.        Doughnut Eating Contest

5 p.m.        Burn-Out Pit/Prize Drawings/ Hot Rod and Motorcycle Rally winners announced

6-8 p.m.    Food, Music and Vendor displays

9 p.m.       Gates Close

Sunday, Nov. 11

9 a.m.         Gates open/registering for events and contests

10 a.m.       Music starts

Noon          Prayer Service

1 p.m.         Slow Ride Competition

2 p.m.        Water Balloon Toss competition

3 p.m.         Hot Rod Winners announced

3:30 p.m.   Motorcycle Contest winners announced

4 p.m.         Prize Drawing and 50/50 Drawing

4:30 p.m.   Doughnut Eating Contest

5 p.m.         Burn-Out Pit

6-8 p.m.      Food, Music and Vendor displays

9 p.m.         Gates Close

There will be prize drawings every half hour, along with 50/50 prizes and other prize drawings throughout each day of the event. McGruff the Crime Dog and the Crash Test Dummies will also make special appearances.

A special children’s area will be open throughout each day of the event.

Car Show Information 

The Car Show will be held on each day, Saturday and Sunday.

 

*All Cars must be registered by 3:00pm each day. Registration will take place at the information table on-site. Judging will occur between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Winners will be announced at 6:00pm each day.

 

*Cost to enter is $10.00 per category. First place winners will receive an official “Gang Free” award.

 

*Categories are:

 

Best in Show     Best Paint   Best Custom    Best Import    Best Antique    Best Rat Car

 

Bike Show Information

 

The Bike Show will be held on each day, Saturday and Sunday.

Poker Run will be held Saturday, November 11, 2007        

Registration will be at the Information Table at the Agri-Civic Center

$5.00 per hand (No limit of hands)

Schedule:

First Bike Out - 10:00am

Last Out - noon

Drawing - 3:00pm

Group line up starts at 11:00pm Saturday

There will be a Blessing of the bikes at that time

Scheduled Route:

1st Leave Agri-Civic Center turn Left on Hwy 710 S. to Indian Town

2nd Good Times Café to Hwy 76 to 441 N J&S Fish Camp

3rd J&S Fish Camp on 441 N to 78 W. Shrine Club

4th Shrine Club back to Agri-Civic Center 441 N. to 70 E, 710 S

5th Ag Center last and final card

The new Agri-Civic Center is located on S.R.70,  three miles east of downtown Okeechobee. 

from downtown Okeechobee, take SR 70 eastbound, over the RR bridge, and over the canal. Center will be on the right (south) side of the highway. 

        From Fort Pierce, take SR 70 westbound. Center will be on the left (south) side of highway

        From Indiantown or West Palm Beach, take SR 710 (Beeline Highway) north until it ends at SR 70. Turn right (east) and proceed 1.3   miles to Center.
