ANTI-GANG POSTER COMMITTEE
Every year the Florida Gang Investigators Association holds an anti-gang poster contest open to all middle school and high school youth. The purpose of this is to promote an “anti-gang” lifestyle to our youth. To allow them a creative way to express themselves in saying no to gangs and staying “Gang Free”. The programs department provides oversight to the awards committee.
The anti-gang poster committee assists in increasing the “awareness” of the contest to all appropriate agencies. The committee reviews the forms, rules and criteria annually. The committee will review the submittals and submit the semi-finalist to the FGIA Board of Directors for final selection.
If you are interested in volunteering for this committee or have questions, please contact Cherie Surls, Director of Programs via email at CherieSurls@fgia.com.
