The FGIA’s Training Department prides itself in developing and providing curriculums that will dramatically enhance professional development and increase officer and public safety. The Training Department prides itself in providing top of the line training by internationally recognized subject matter experts in an atmosphere designed for maximum attendee networking all within a professional environment
We provide training designed for all criminal justice professionals within every discipline such as law enforcement, corrections, juvenile justice, probation, prosecutorial, and support staff (i.e., Intelligence Analyst, etc.) and are in the process of evaluating what courses need to be developed for our educators as well as our gang prevention and intervention professionals.
All of the above is developed with the utmost of professional and ethical integrity in mind.
The FGIA’s Florida Gang Training Strategy will serve as a primary reference manual to assist agencies and communities to establish a full-scale training strategy from a base line gang awareness education to the most advanced level of gang investigative techniques. These courses will build best practices, which will prevent, deter and eliminate gang activity within Florida.
