Florida Gang Investigator’s Association was formed in 1993, by
criminal justice professionals, to promote and facilitate the exchange

involved in the investigation and prosecution of criminal street gangs,

The main goal of the Association is to effectively and positively impact

The FGIA is always looking to develop new initiatives that will dramatically impact the rising gang threat in Florida. In 2006, the FGIA developed an initiative called “A Gang Free Florida.” We could tell right away that we had something and quickly coined this as the title of our overall anti-gang strategy and mission. Please learn more about this specific initiative at www.gangfreeflorida.com. Some new and very cool ideas are in development.
Please take the time to browse all of the pages within the FGIA Website and familiarize yourself with the history of the FGIA all the way through to the future of one of the world’s most respected and active gang associations.
